Behind Velarys

One person who knows your project

Arnaud, who runs Velarys, started out in electrical engineering. Twenty years in software and complex networks followed, several of them in New York, then five years in cyber security, building the tools that find weaknesses before somebody else does.

Those years abroad, and two decades in international teams, left him fluent in English, spoken and written. First conversation, site visits, quotes and follow-up can all happen in English, with the same person from start to finish. Nothing is passed to a translator or an intermediary.

One conviction came out of that path: a connected home now moves as much information as a large company does, and deserves the same care, with data that stays in the house. He is equally convinced that daily comfort improves enormously when the automation is thought through. Every Velarys installation carries both of those, down to the smallest detail: an integration meant to stay invisible, and to last.

Many of the houses we look after are lived in a few weeks a year. That changes what the system has to do, and what you need from the person who installed it.
