An alpine living room fitted with discreet home automation by Velarys

Our solutions · Haute-Savoie & Savoie

What we cover

From everyday comfort to serious security, from second homes to houses already full of equipment. One constant: technology you stop noticing.

What we work on

From the everyday to the advanced, always discreet

A living room with tall windows where lighting and blinds are automated by Velarys

Comfort & Automation

The small daily gestures, switching on, warming up, closing down, stop being gestures. The house adapts to your routine instead of the other way round.

  • Lighting that follows the hour and who is in the room
  • Zoned heating, brought up ahead of your schedule
  • Shutters, blinds and bioclimatic pergolas driven by daylight, wind and the storm on its way
  • Scenes made for you: waking, film night, bedtime, and a leaving scene that fires on its own
A security camera recording locally in a house secured by Velarys

Security & Cameras

Our systems tell what deserves your attention from what does not, before disturbing you. The footage stays in the house, with no monthly subscription.

  • Cameras recording locally, with no cloud subscription
  • Detection that tells a person from an animal before it alerts you
  • An alarm with no outside monitoring contract and no monthly fee
  • Simulated occupancy for longer absences
An alpine chalet living room facing snow-covered peaks, run remotely by Velarys

Second Homes & Holiday Lets

A chalet used a few weeks a year still has to be watched, maintained and ready to receive you. We cover the whole territory: lake Annecy, the Arve valley, the Tarentaise, the Bauges.

  • The chalet starts warming because you are on your way, with nothing to press
  • A warning before frost or a leak does damage while you are away
  • Temporary access for guests or trades, with a record of who came
  • Continuous watch with nobody needed on site
A connected thermostat added to an existing wall during a renovation

Renovation Without Major Works

Home automation is not reserved for new builds. Most of our projects are houses already standing, sometimes already equipped. We start from what you have, and we do not tear out what works.

  • Installed without major works or a full rewire
  • Somfy, Philips Hue, Netatmo and other existing brands brought in
  • Suitable for old buildings and listed architecture
Network cables labelled one by one on an existing patch panel

Audits & System Takeover

A system was already there when you bought the place, and nobody follows it now. We establish what works, what is exposing you and what is worth keeping. It can be ordered on its own.

  • An inventory of what is there: brands, protocols, real condition
  • Devices gone through: factory passwords, open access, cloud ties
  • A written report: what stays, what goes, and what it would cost
  • Maintenance taken over on a system somebody else installed
Lighting controlled with a single gesture, accessible home automation by Velarys

Accessibility & Assisted Living

Staying at home as long as possible, independently. A single gesture or word is enough to control the whole house, with nothing to buy twice and nothing to rebuild.

  • Controls that suit: large buttons, voice, gesture
  • A discreet watch that notices an unusual absence, without a camera
  • An alert to family when something is not right
  • A lit path that comes on by itself at night
Interwoven light trails suggesting the continuity of a fully local installation
What Sets Us Apart

Independence & Continuity of Service

Most systems on the market go inert the moment the internet connection drops. With Velarys, all the intelligence is installed in your house.

  • Fully local operation, internet or not
  • Automatic switch to a backup link if the line fails
  • Critical equipment protected against power cuts
  • No dependence on a subscription or a third-party service
A discreet wall control beside a door, intelligence built in with nothing on show
What Sets Us Apart

Quiet Intelligence

Your system can observe, learn and warn you, without ever sending your data outside. That is what tells you an appliance is about to fail before it fails.

  • Anomalies spotted: unusual consumption, equipment running hot
  • Voice control in ordinary sentences, not memorised commands
  • Audio processed entirely on site: nothing is sent outside
  • Your habits learned without your data being collected

What Sets Us Apart

Home Network Protection

Network security is not sold separately: it is built into the design of every installation. One badly configured connected device is a way in, so we design the network so that it never becomes one.

  • Cameras and connected objects kept off the rest of the network
  • Encrypted remote access, without opening a door onto the internet
  • No factory passwords, no exposed ports
  • Security updates followed over time

How we work, in detail

What happens at each stage

You have seen what we cover above. Here is how it takes shape in your property, from the first meeting through to support over the years.

1

Study

We come to you and work out how the house is actually lived in: your routines, your rooms, what irritates you day to day. We also survey what is already there, network, electrics, existing equipment, so we build on sound foundations instead of replacing everything.

Site visit & technical survey
2

Design

We draw a system for your property and the way you use it, not an offer taken off a shelf. You approve the equipment and the budget before anything starts.

Costed proposal & installation plan
3

Installation

We fit everything with care and discretion, respecting your interiors and their finishes. We coordinate the trades to keep disruption short and hold the agreed dates.

Careful fitting that leaves your interiors intact
4

Handover

We take the time to show you how it all works, simply, until everyone in the house is comfortable with it. You are left with clear references that suit the whole family.

Walkthrough & guides written for you
5

Support

A home automation system lives and changes. We maintain it before things break and grow it at the pace of your needs, year after year.

Maintenance & changes over time

In practice

Automation scenarios

Not packages off a shelf: sequences tuned to your house and your rhythm. Six moments, told the way they actually happen.

A warm chalet by the fire, ready on arrival thanks to remote pre-heating

Arriving at the chalet

Friday, four in the afternoon. One tap from the road and the chalet comes out of its winter standby, warm and ready before you get there.

  • Heating comes up just in time, room by room
  • Hot water restarts, shutters open at dusk
  • The alarm stands down when it recognises you approaching
An open-air film night on a terrace facing lake Annecy

Cinema under the stars

A July evening on the terrace, the lake below. One word and the garden becomes a screening room, with not a cable in sight.

  • Screen, projector and sound balance across the whole terrace
  • Garden lighting dims while the paths stay lit
  • When the credits end, everything folds away, alarm included
A sunlit living room, with solar production used at exactly the right moment

When the sun delivers

One in the afternoon, full sun on the Semnoz. Your panels are producing more than the house is using, and the system puts that surplus to work, here and now.

  • Hot water tank and car charging move onto the surplus
  • In the evening, stored energy takes over during peak hours
  • A clear monthly summary, with no spreadsheet to decode
A hot summer sky, the house closing its shutters against the heat

Heatwave

Midday in August, thirty-four degrees outside. While you are at work the house shelters itself, so the rooms stay cool without air conditioning.

  • Exposed shutters close before the heat gets in
  • An alert if a window has been left open in full sun
  • When it cools, a reminder to open up, then to close again
A house seen from the street, playing occupancy during a long absence

Nobody home

Three days away. From the street the house is living its life, as if somebody were in. You keep it in your pocket, wherever you are.

  • Lights and shutters play a believable presence in the evening
  • Detection tells a visitor from a cat before disturbing you
  • Temporary access for a delivery, over an encrypted link
Checking the state of the house from a phone

Keeping watch without watching

Your mother lives alone and values her independence. An oven is left on and forgotten. The house notices, acts, and lets you know, without ever spying on her.

  • An oven left on with nobody there is spotted, then switched off
  • An unusual lack of movement warns a relative, with no camera involved
  • At night, a lit path comes on by itself

Where we work

Areas we cover

From the Annecy basin to the foot of Mont-Blanc, and down to Chambéry. We travel across all of it, for main residences and second homes alike.

Your commune is not listed? It is probably minutes from one that is. The simplest thing is to ask: we will tell you straight whether the trip makes sense.

And in your house?

Does one of these sound like your project?

Whether you are starting from a blank page or from a system somebody else left behind, we always start from your actual situation. The first conversation commits you to nothing.
